Jonathan’s Landing Yacht Club Radio Controlled Model Racing Sailboat Club

JLYC’s Radio Controlled Model Sailboat Club is open to all members of the Jonathan’s Landing Community.

Soling 1 Meter races are held each Saturday afternoon starting at 2:00 pm at Butterfly Park, Casseekey Island Road in Jonathan’s Landing.

Informal practices sessions are often held on Tuesday afternoons. Practice sessions are open other classes of sailboats.

Anyone interested in learning more about the sport or even trying your hand at sailing a remote-control boat, you are encouraged to stop by the pond and meet the members of the RC Sailing Group.

Members are eager to share their boats with others and can provide all types of assistance including guidance in the purchase of a new or used Remote control boat.

Stop by the pond and learn more about this growing sport. All members of the Jonathan’s Landing Community and their guest are welcome.
